Selected Topics in W Physics at LEP II
Electron-positron collision events at LEP II in which W bosons are
produced act as a probe into the structure of the Standard Model
and the limits of its applicability. Specific examples of the
extraction of this information from experimentally observed
quantities will be shown, using data taken at the L3 detector at
centre-of-mass energies between 189 and 202 GeV. Some current
issues in the modelling of these events will then be reviewed in
relation to this, leading to a discussion of the significance of
the physics accessible at the LEP experiments, in comparision with
earlier and future experiments.
