Hello-
For some reason my Skytel beeper did not go off for this
last alarm. This is not the first failure either. Do either of
you (K8 or Alec) experience a unreliable Skytel response?

I doubt that it is either. Box 55 appears in many burst alarms.
I did a quick survey from March 22 to Sept 15 (until I got bored):
Of the 16 alarms (for which I have info) seven feature box 55.
In two additional alarms that don't, boxes 54,56 and 57 fire!
Maybe someone left a source lying around there.
