Off line GC calibration tests were performed today. We are now about to
perform the same test with the full detector and both monitors (ERP and
PHRASE) *on*. Unless something goes wrong, bursts will appear in MACRO RUN
16971 that will start any minute. The pattern of bursts will be the following:
1) burst in SM1/2
-- 5 minutes wait --
2) burst in SM3/4
-- 5 minutes wait --
3) burst in SM5/6
-- 5 minutes wait --
4) burst in all MACRO (SM1/2/3/4/5/6)
Within each burst (1 through 4) the protocol described in yesterday's e-mail
will be followed:
- 10 ERP fake hits at 4Hz (2.5secs) (PHRASE should see these fake hits too)
- 30 seconds of silence
- 2 bursts of total duration ~12 seconds (no ERP/PHRASE FAKE box present)
- 30 seconds of silence
- 10 ERP fake hits at 4Hz (2.5secs) (PHRASE should see these fake hits too)
Notice that given that both ERP and PHRASE online GC monitors will be
operational, e-mails are expected to reach the international GC network.
Kate Scholberg and Macro Grassi have agreed on this scheme.
