Ciao a tutti,

With the work on the electrical grid in the tunnel coming up next week
we need to have the workhours slightly rearranged in order to
guarantee coverage of all operations. So for Tue, Wed and Thu,
I would like to have two work shifts, one from 09:00-17:00
and another one from 12:00 to 20:00, each with two people covered.
Please let me know if there are any problems with this.

If I recall well, in the past we used an extension to power up
the VSMAC1 computer *only* and thus keep going with the data acq
even when the counting house was disconnected. On Thu, it is expected
the counting house to be disconnected from the grid while the full
detector will keep on. Thus, it is a good moment to re-establish
this power connection from the top of MACRO to VSMAC1.

Massimo&Roberto, could you please look into this today and maybe power up
VSMAC1 in this scheme in advance, even today (please check with Mario Sitta
on that). This will allow us to keep taking data with no interruption even
on Thu, leaving Wed as the completely off day. I discussed briefly
with Aurelio on the work schedule for these days and he mentioned
Mario's plan to keep PHRASE only on Tuesday. That's certainly doable
assuming we monitor the temperature at all times. A more conservative
approach for Tue is to run with PHRASE IN SM5&6 *ONLY* given that there
will be NO ventillation and NO lights on MACRO's attico. I expect PHRASE
in SM5&6 to be more exposed to general heat dissipation and thus
guarantee continuous running through the 8am-8pm works. If temperature
increases while in this configuration, the full detector will shut off.

It would be nice to know who of the streamer tube technicians will
be availble during this days and hours.

A presto,
--Erik
