Hi all--
I've noticed that over the last 48 hours several emails originating
from SCINTSOFT have been unable to be delivered to the vaxgs cluster
due to nameserver errors. THis includes emails (but not all, I believe)
related to data rate variations/PMT voltages/disk space etc.
I'm not sure how much of this is due to scheduled net works or failures
of any type (it happened also at midnight, when no work on the net
I believe was scheduled). It worths checking the mail on VXMACB::SCINTSOFT
and/or VXMACA::MACRORUN more systematically while this problem continues.
The above two account receive e-mails independently from the VAXGS users
and going through local decnet rather than tcpip.
