The WFD stop master now is ready! I have made one module here at Caltech
and have tested every function. It works just fine as it's supposed to do.
I am going to bring this module to Gran Sasso and test it there in the
real data ACQ system in the middle of August.
Basically, it's designed as I described in my last mail. However, I have
changed one thing under Eric Katsavounidis' suggestion. That is that each
module now is going to take two monopole triggers from its two adjacent
SM's. Therefore, if a coincidence monopole event happened within two SM's,
it will be recorded. Except this, all other functions are still staying
the old way.
We are going to made six modules. But I will not program any Actel chips
until the last moment when we need them. Hence, any necessary change is
still possible.
By the way, I have written a real operator's manual for the WFD stop master
with schematics.
