This mail is to alert you to online documentation for checking
out a crate of WFD's. Specifically, this documents how to use
the wfd debugging commands in the mini-acq to verify that all
the channels in a crate are relatively healthy. This would
need to be performed after changing a VME backplane, for example.
We instructed the three techs at LNGS on this procedure just
after the collaboration meeting- but hopefully they will not need
to use it for a long time. Erik- would you please have them take
note of the whereabouts of this documantation?
Please let me know of anything I should expand or clarify. I'll
try to keep improving and updating the documentation in WFDINFO
and welcome help from others working with the system.
