paranoia vs data

Not that I want to squelch people being concerned about the quality
of the data... but I *really* think that we need to get on with
implementing fixes, even some which may not be quite perfect. Time is
ticking. My feeling is that the level of concerns currently being
expressed fall below the threshold of being worth delaying fix
implementations. For instance, I don't think that it would be a big
disaster if the WFD's have some small probability of not getting
re-started occasionally. This doesn't lead to bad data, just a tiny
inefficiency. We have already lost much more data than will ever occur
from that in agonizing over a fix path... It is time to move.
