Ciao a tutti,

There has been a moderate increase on the number of FMT triggers, all
on uVAX#1, and in particular coming from 1CH and 1WL boxes, for the last
month or so.
Today, we finally found the problem; it was due to flaky CSPAM cables
for boxes 1C09-12 and 1W05-07. As a result, a signal from just one side
(for example 1W05-0) of a counter was creating coincidence and the cor-
responding trigger. The phenomenon was much more visible on the FMT,
given its very low rate, but should also be present on the entire CSPAM
(CSPAM-mu/FMT/HIPT) system.
Massimo fixed these two cable-connectors (one of which was broken on
the PMT-fanout side and the other on the CSPAM-fanin side) and the first
MACRO run following the fix is 17122. Feedback is welcome,

Regards,

Ioannis
