Hi all--
SM6CH29 pedestal variation warnings we have been receiving
since RUN 1885 08-JAN-2000 are due to single events coming
most likely from LED discharges. Nicola will be sending to
the list more details as he has been studing all such events
since almost a year now. Yiannis will be checking possible
back termination problems that may result to such behavior.
In the following table you can see for a sample of runs
around the transition of the SM6CH29 WFD behavior the MAXIMUM
NDATA. Typically, the max NDATA is around <1500 for a horizontal
channel. You can seen starting with RUN 1885 this hitting or
being close to the max (12498). Only one such event per RUN
has been recording consistently since then.
