Could be that some of the higher-energy hits are inter-SM muons with
partners in SM's that didn't read out yet, just as with the last burst. Post
run analysis will tell. The Bari box could get rid of a lot of this
kind of background event, if I set it up.

Actually the '*' in the Cut column means "passed the cuts", not
"didn't pass cuts", so there are 4 events passing and 5 not passing here-- no
discrepancy.
I'll fix this notation to be less confusing.
