Hello all,

As you may know from the collaboration meeting, the new version of the
ERP online GC monitor has now been running stably for some time. This
is an invitation to all collaborators to be added to one or both of
two ERP GC monitor-related mailing lists:

1. The ERP GC alarm mailing list, for those who want to
receive prompt alarm email about neutrino burst candidates
in the ERP. Members of this list will be expected
to respond as soon as possible to alarms.

2. The macro-erpgc mailing list for discussion of ERP GC alarms
and issues (set up similarly to the new macro-general mailing
list replacement for the MONOPOLE bulletin board.)
ERP alarm info will be posted here as well.

THE ALARM MAILING LIST:

So far, I have the following email addresses:

kate@cithe501.cithep.caltech.edu
katsvnds@cithe1.cithep.caltech.edu
ahabig@bigbang.astro.indiana.edu
baker@mich1.physics.lsa.umich.edu
mufson@pulsar.astro.indiana.edu
musser@pulsar.astro.indiana.edu
tarle@mich1.physics.lsa.umich.edu

If your name is not here and you'd like to be on the alarm list, send
me email. I will add you to the list and send you more detailed info
(a MACRO memo about the new version of the ERP GC monitor is in the
works). And of course I'll take your name off if you *don't* want to
be on the list. Also please send me any address corrections.

THE MACRO-ERPGC MAILING LIST:

In case you *do* want to be generally informed about ERP GC monitor
goings-on, yet you *don't* want to worry about having to react to GC alarm
messages, then the macro-erpgc mailing list is for you. This is a
mailing list similar to the new macro-general mailing list, and
messages can be posted to it by sending mail to

macro-erpgc@cithe502.cithep.caltech.edu

Like the new macro-general mailing list, macro-erpgc will be archived
on the Caltech Macro WWW server, at
http://www.cithep.caltech.edu/macro/macro.html. Again, let me know if
you want to be on or off this list. (All members of the alarm mailing
list will automatically be charter members of macro-erpgc).

ERP monitor alarm info will be posted to this list after ERP alarms,
along with followups, comments, info about bugs, code upgrades, etc.

Questions and comments welcome, as always.

Kate Scholberg.
