Gianrossano Giannini (on shift and shift reporting)

The weekly meeting was held on Monday May,15 and the recent works done
were reviewed. Concerning the TOHM's and the Slow Monopole Trigger the
tests on the attico were completed by Sophia who is also going to bring
back to US some hardware.
The most exciting thing was the completion of the instrumentation of the
WaveForm Digitizer System for all 6 S.M.'s. All the "doughnuts" were wrapped
on the cables and the wire groups nicely arranged on the racks. Tests on the
SM1 WFD in Data Acquisition started but on all the 6 S.M.' s will be completed
by Ed Kerns only when all the processors will be available and mounted on the
system ( most probably next week).
Copying data tapes for the US should be ready soon for batches XD186-193
and XD205-up to last available.
The SM 4,5 and 6 of the PHRASE circuits have been worked on by a team from
Trieste (GG + technical help) and now the full PHRASE system has been modified
in order to provide the low energy trigger for the LIP trigger which Chris
Walter is going to use during these coming days.
The run number 10000 was reached and taken on tape but no special celebration
was organized, there has been a party though on the week end but unfortunately
I was no able to attend due to a strike that forced me to change travel plans.
For details on the party refer directly to partipants.
All the other important achievements of the week can be easily grasped by
reading the following Calendar written by Nat containg the full list of the:

LUT work.. all ERP tanks with nominal or higher muon and GC Nat, Kate,
rates, although some still have non-flat responses. Alice, Rich
LUTs are built with recent calibration constants, individual
tank response curves, and lowered MBTs for problem tanks.

Preliminary response to CRESST proposal to occupy south end Nat
of Hall B (this is a German/UK cryogenic dark matter search),
while in principle there are no problems, we await responses
to (1) the possibility of helium contamination from the
cryogenic system, and (2) exact placement and access details.
