Cape May is located at the southern tip of the Jersey shore, a summer
vacation spot for over a century. Restaurants, shopping, and the
beach are all within easy walking distance. The architecture in Cape
May is predominantly Victorian, with many beautiful summer houses
built in the late 19th and early 20th century.

for up-to-the-minute weather, travel, schedule, and more information.
I'm also trying to get a "mirror" server set up at LNGS, for ease
of access from Italy.

HOW TO GET THERE
================
Fly to: Philadelphia, Newark NJ, or New York JFK. Public
transportation by bus is available to take you to Cape May, but it is
generally more convenient to rent a car and drive. Approximate travel
time from Philadelphia airport is 1.5-2 hours; from Newark 2.5-3 hours,
from JFK add the time needed to cross from Long Island to NJ.

More detailed driving instructions will follow closer to the meeting date,
and are also available on the Cape May '96 web page.

Accomodations at Cape May are in "Bed and Breakfast Inns". Many of these
are historic homes with antique furniture, located near the center of
Cape May. All are in easy walking distance of the meeting, restaurants,
and shopping. The meeting will be hosted by a B&B directly on the shore.

Breakfast is included with the rooms. Rates are in the range of
$95-$125 per night, depending on the Inn. Reservations will be made
through "B&B Adventure" in Cape May, which requires an advance
deposit. Space will be limited as the weather improves, so please
don't delay.
