Subject: SOUTH face and ERP

Hi all--
I've looked at the ~1hr long mini acq with SM5/6 we took this morning.
South face looks pretty bad for ERP muon and GC. There were NO triggers
at the muon level (~2 sigma) while at the GC level 6S01/6S07 were
unacceptably high (>7sigma), 6S03/6S05 were very high (~3sigma) leaving
6S02/6S06 at a reasonable rate (254/2218 hits/hour, ~1sigma). Of course
6S04 was dead for both mu/gc levels.
We urgently need a LUT iteration, mostly in order to have the muon level
back in action (I'm quite puzzle by the lack of *any* trigger..., please
make sure all the cabling is OK)
Overall though the rate of the GC level is tolerable by the acq and thus
we can reinsert the ERP SOUTH face in acquisition now and have LUT iterations
thereafter.
A presto,
--Erik
PS: Yianni, if time permits today, you can run a LUT iteration with
the mini acq data already collected. You can find them at
