Hi all--
There was a serious mess up of the automatic MACRO RUN processing starting
Feb 3 and until Feb 5, 2000. This is most likely due to a bad sector and/or
some other problem with DISK$SCRAUSA6 (Nazarreno is looking into the problem).
The symptom was that while writing out to this disk (DISK$SCRAUSA6),
the disk all of a sudden appeared to be completely full while all of
the times more than 4GB of free space was available.
The reordering jobs were mostly affected with RUNs that were either
partially or not at all produced. The size checker of the RAW vs. ORDERED
data was actually what caught the problem and emailed me about.
Chuck, you most probably have lost a few RUNs worth of analysis.
Some RARE/LAMOSSKA/OVERFLOW DST also failed.
I'm currently reprosessing RUNs still in the VXMACB that were probably
affected by this failure.
I have disabled the use of DISK$SCRAUSA6 by all automated job. Please do
not use the disk until you hear back.
