session at the upcoming AAS meeting,
http://www.aas.org/meetings/aas195/prelim/new.html
The contributed papers session which goes along with the plenary talks
listed above will be entitled "The Next Galactic SN", and will be about
what to due about using neutrinos to get the most science out of The Big
One.
It would be good to have some short talks from SNEWS working group
people, particularly about how your experiment triggers on SN nus.
If you're interested, please let me know so we can coordinate what gets
talked about and make sure everything that needs said gets presented.
You can register for the AAS meeting at
http://www.aas.org/meetings/aas195/prelim/prelim.html .
You need to submit an Abstract by Tuesday, 26th of October 1999 at 9 PM.
(this meeting thinks farther ahead than most :)
Please mark your Abstract in some way so that the organizers will know
to place it in ``The Next Galactic Supernova'' session.
best regards,
Alec
