Greetings SNEWSers,

The proposed abstract for my contributed talk to the January 2000 AAS
meeting special session "The Next Galactic Supernova" is available for
checking at

         http://budoe.bu.edu/~snnet/aas/abstract_snews.txt

This talk will outline the status and capabilities of SNEWS.

Please take a look at it and offer suggestions!

This session is a good place for the different experiments to give a
short (~10 min) contributed talk on their own SN detection capabilities,
if there are any volunteers.

The deadline for submission of the abstracts is next Tuesday, 26
October.
