Hi SNEWSers,
My first draft for the conf. proceedings from the Oct. Maryland
Astrophysics conference is online at

These take a considerably different slant than do Kate's Amaldi
proceedings, due to the short (4 page) size limit and the target
audience - ie, introducing SNEWS to astronomers and convincing them to
think in advance about what they might want to do with a SN alert.
Anyway, please read it over and let me know if you have any corrections
or suggestions. In particular, I am interested in any references to
cite which explain the various experiments' SN triggers. MACRO and LVD
have each published papers on their triggers - anybody else got a
reference to be included? The proceedings are due by next Wed, 15 Dec,
and I'll also send them to astro-ph at LANL.
