Dear SNEWS subgroup,
LVD is changing the Data Acquisition system in this period, actually
part of the telescope is running with the old ACQ system, the other
with the new one. We plant to convert the entire telescope in the first
weeks of december.

In january we have scheduled a test of the system by simulating (LEDs)
the signal from a gravitational collapse.

For these reasons I would prefer to perform the high rate test after our

own test, for example in february.

For what concern our "dynamic range" I'm confident that something per
minute is a reachable rate.
