Dear Colleagues,

The upgoing muon working group has a draft memo/pub prepared and requests
comments from the collaboration as a whole. The first presentation of the new
data is scheduled for next week at Blois so comments should be made rapidly.
The memo is being distributed both by postscript file as described below and
by fax to institutional coordinators.

regards,

Doug

The various files and documents which constitute the memo/pub on upgoing
muons and the like are now collecting in the directory
vaxgs::disk$macro:[macrousa.michael.summer96].

I will work at putting many individual .ps files in this directory, suitable
for use in preparation of talks. For the moment, there are 4 files:
memopub.tex The LaTeX source for the draft memo/pub
memopub.ps The postscript file with all figures included
but some of them may be located in weird
positions (I haven't been able to look at
it myself yet!)
figs_4-7_and_9.ps When I ghostview the memopub.ps file, these
figures are all there just fine. However, when
I print it on our printers at Caltech they
don't show up. If you have the same problem,
figures 4-7 and 9 are in this .ps file in order
and these *do* print out on my laser printer.
Okada.ps Stand-alone short memo on Colin's analysis
Sanzgiri.ps Stand-alone short memo on Ashutosh's analysis

The memopub has a preface which I wrote which serves to inform
collaborators about what is proposed and to make sure that the memo/pub
doesn't look like a draft paper... we've seen this cause problems in the
past! Please send me comments as soon as possible.
