If you already have a simulation database, point your CALMOD logicals
at it (by sourcing a file called setnames on UNIX, or by defining
logicals on VAX), start calmod and exec the kumac to update the
values. If you do not have a simulation database, point your CALMOD
logicals at the (not-yet-existing) new files, start calmod, hit return
eight times to create the files (ignoring the error messages) and
quit, then proceed as above. If you get a ZFATAL crash trying to
execute the kumac, the kumac is too large for KUIP to compile. You
can get around this by redirecting the kumac to standard input with
calmod < simdb.kumac
on UNIX or the equivalent on the VAX.
I will update the simulation database in $MACROSOFT/gmacro/db on
cithep and rsgs02 this weekend.
Remember to have your CALMOD logicals pointing at the simulation
database both when you run GMACRO to create the simulated data and
when you run DREAM or other analysis code looking at simulated data.
I will append a table giving the 5 GMACRO volume numbers of each tank,
the simulated position of each tank (X,Y,Z), the tank name, and the
difference (X,Y,Z, in cm) between the simulated position and the
position in the standard (non-simulation) database.
